Week Two:
In the second week, as a group we had to come up with a manifesto identifying philosophies and networks adaptable to our choice of topic. For this task I had decided to work with a different group of people that I felt I got on much better with to create the presentation for our manifesto.
When presenting our manifesto to the group, Mark and Kate felt that from the ideas I come up with that I was more suited to the “creating a sensational experience” group I was previously in before hand. So taking there advise I moved back to this group. However, after several meet ups and discussions about the work, with there already being a large amount of people in this group. I felt that this actually turned out to be a massive negativity to me, as I was looking forward to working in a group together with people I had not worked with before, yet they told me and Hannah there was too many in the group already so therefore we ended up working together on our own which we had already collaborated previously in the last project.
This wasn’t too much of a problem to me, as me and Hannah work well together and have many similar interests but felt like the whole idea of unit x was to work out of your comfort zone and attempt to work as a group with people you were not used to previously.
